WestJet Airlines is Canada’s low-cost carrier and the country’s second-largest airline. It was founded in 1996. Home airport and headquarters are located in Calgary.
WestJet operates charter and regular flights, and the route network has over one hundred destinations in Canada, the USA, Europe, Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.
Since 2013, the airline has confidently been among the ten largest carriers in North America, with an average passenger turnover of 20 million people a year.
Westjet is not a member of any aviation alliance.
