Virgin America

Virgin America is an American airline that began operations in 2007. The main goal of the airline is to combine low ticket prices and high-quality service on long-haul flights between the cities of the East and West coasts of the United States.

The airport of registration and the main hub is located in the airport of the city of San Francisco. Additional hubs are located at the airports of Los Angeles and Dallas.

The airline’s route network has 24 destinations.

In April 2016, Alaska Air Group announced that it would acquire Virgin America for $ 57 per share. Virgin America was taken over by Alaska Airlines on April 25, 2018. The total cost was about $ 2.6 billion.
