Pegasus Airlines

Pegasus Airlines is a private low-cost airline in Turkey. Home Airport – Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, in Istanbul.

The air carrier is the second (according to the size of the fleet) in Turkey, after the Turkish Airlines and has operated flights for more than 20 years.

The airline’s route network has about 70 destinations in 25 countries.

Like most low-cost fires, meals and other options are available at an additional cost, and aircraft are represented by the only economy class of service.

  • According to the influential British consulting agency SKYTRAX, specializing in the study of the quality of services provided by various air carriers, the airlines were awarded two stars.
  • Pegasus takes 68th place in the ranking of the safest airlines in the world 2019 by Jacdec.


As of January 24, 2020, there are 80 airliners in the Pegasus fleet. The average age of the aircraft is 5.5 years.

The oldest is the Boeing 737-800, with the tail number – TC-IZD. His age is 17.5 years. The newest is the Boeing 737-800, with tail number TC-CRG. He is 0.5 years old.
