MD 600N

In 1994, the first flight of the MD 630N helicopter was made. It differs from the MD 520N helicopter by its 0.76m long cabin and 0.71m long tail boom. A six-bladed rotor of the same diameter is installed on it, as on the MD 520N and GTE, the power is 485 kW, the limited transmission is up to 447 kW. 03/28/1995 made the first flight of a multi-purpose serial helicopter MD 600N, which was created based on MD 630N.

The cabin size in comparison with the MD 520N is increased due to the additional section on each side with two doors, which makes it possible to increase the floor-length of the cabin to 1.8 m and the door opening length to 1.6 m, providing transportation of bulky goods weighing up to 1250 kg in the cabin. The largest mass of cargo transported on an external sling increased to 1360 kg.
