First United Arab Emirates plane lands in Israel

On Tuesday, May 19, an Etihad Airways cargo plane landed for the first time in Israel, making a direct flight from the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.

According to the N12 television channel, the plane carries humanitarian aid intended for the Palestinian Authority and the Gaza Strip sent by the UAE through the United Nations in coordination with the Government of Israel.

The airline received permission to land in Israel from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jerusalem.
