Eurocopter EC 135 T2i

Eurocopter Japan, a subsidiary of Eurocopter, a European aviation construction company, transferred the first ordered EC 135 T2i training helicopter in 2010 to the Japanese Navy.

The contract for the supply of two helicopters was signed in February 2009. The first machine was delivered on time. According to the plans that were announced, the Japanese Navy wants to test the resulting helicopter, after which it will be transferred to the training center.

After fulfilling the second contract, there will be 15 helicopters in the training center of the Japanese Navy.

The EC135 twin-engine helicopter can reach the highest speed of up to 260km / h. The flight range can reach up to 830km, depending on the installed engines. The EC135 is capable of carrying up to six people.
