Etihad introduces Wellness Ambassador position

Etihad Airways has launched a new welfare program that will help ensure safety and hygiene on all flights during the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

To implement the initiative, the air carrier introduced the posts of ambassadors for well-being (or health ambassadors, wellness ambassadors) who will inform passengers about health issues and take care of them before boarding.

The project is being implemented jointly with Abu Dhabi International Airport. As soon as restrictions on air travel are lifted, messengers of well-being will appear on the flights themselves. They will help flight attendants and take care of the health and well-being of passengers during the flight.

The airline has also created an online guide that will help increase passenger awareness of the level of hygiene and cleanliness they should expect in flight.

It is noted that the team of well-being ambassadors will work around the clock and serve passengers in different languages, including online chat.
