Bell 206B3 JetRanger III

Bell 206B3 JetRanger III is a multi-purpose helicopter developed by the American company Bell Helicopter. The Bell 206B3 JetRanger III is a further development of the Jet RangerII helicopter with the similar fuselage and main rotor sizes but with the GTs RollsRoyce (Allison) 250-C20J or Allison250C20R / 4, power 313kW. It was mass-produced since 1977 in the USA, where 1615 helicopters were built, in Italy 300 copies were built under license by Augusta, Mirabel in Canada built 275 copies. The largest customer of helicopters is Petroleum Helicopters.

The helicopter was also delivered to military structures and police units of various countries, for example, in the Croatian and Slovakian Air Force. Bell206B3 is the latest representative of the JetRanger type.

Its production began in 1986. Based on the helicopter, the TN57ВSeaRanger was created – a training helicopter for initial training with more advanced equipment. The US Navy ordered 51 helicopters, deliveries were completed in 1985. The fleet additionally ordered 89 TN57S helicopters, which are equipped with night flight equipment.
