Avicopter AC352

Avicopter AC352 is a multi-purpose Chinese helicopter developed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China in 2015.

When designing the helicopter model Avicopter AC352, Chinese aircraft manufacturers tried to create the most efficient multi-purpose aircraft, suitable for various fields of their application, including those used for transporting goods and people. The model of the Airbus H175 helicopter was taken as the basis of the future project, however, while the appearance, for the most part, did not change, then in terms of flight performance, a Chinese-made helicopter was fundamentally different from the French aircraft.

The Avicopter AC352 helicopter underwent its first test in 2015, and at the same time, this aircraft was first introduced to the public. Although the helicopter was supposed to be launched into mass production in the first half of 2016, later aircraft manufacturers from the Aviation Industry Corporation of China decided to postpone the start of the production of these helicopters to a later time.

Despite its rather overall dimensions, the Avicopter AC352 model helicopter is notable for its high flight speed, good controllability, and quite acceptable maneuverability, which is mainly due to several optimizations.

To date, the Avicopter AC352 helicopter is positioned solely as a multi-purpose civil aircraft, however, Chinese aircraft manufacturers did not exclude the possibility that soon a military version of this aircraft, which is expected to be able to replace a number, will be created based on the Avicopter AC352 model already obsolete aircraft of this type.

Depending on the layout of the cabin, onboard, an aircraft model Avicopter AC352 can accommodate from 16 to 18 people, including two crew members and 14-16 passengers, which in fact, provides the possibility of operating this aircraft for commercial purposes. Among other things, the Avicopter AC352 helicopter is also adapted for transportation of various kinds of cargo on its board, the only condition for which is compliance with the maximum established take-off weight of 8 tons.

The Avicopter AC352 helicopter is equipped with two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6C-67E gas turbine aircraft engines with a thrust of 1775 hp. each, or by analogs produced in China, but of the same power, which in turn provides the aircraft with the ability to accelerate to a speed of 285 km \ h. (cruising flight speed), and overcoming distances at distances of 1250 kilometers, which is very effective.
