Within one year, aircraft developers and designers managed to create a modern design that perfectly combines with the functionality of this aircraft, and therefore, already at the end of 2015, the leadership of the aircraft giant announced its intention to begin design work on the development of the technical part of this aircraft.

According to the developers, the Airbus Helicopters X6 helicopter will have a multi-purpose nature of its use, and since this model is heavy, the helicopter can be used both for transporting a large number of people on board and for transporting various kinds of cargo. According to experts, this helicopter, if its project is completed by 2020, can become an effective replacement for the Eurocopter H225 helicopter model.

The external design elements of the presented Airbus Helicopters X6 helicopter are partially taken from such models of the same French manufacturer as the Airbus Helicopters H160 and Airbus Helicopters H175, however, in general, all aircraft will have their differences in appearance, in particular, the Airbus Helicopters X6 helicopter will have a more aerodynamic shape, which, according to the plan of the manufacturers, should make it possible to reduce fuel consumption and increase the flight performance of the aircraft of this model.

The helicopter cockpit of the Airbus Helicopters X6 model can accommodate up to 21 people – 2 pilots and 19 passengers, moreover, the aircraft itself can also be used to transport goods with a total weight of up to 5 tons, to conduct search and rescue operations, as well as a business aircraft class.

As a power plant, the Airbus Helicopters X6 will use two gas turbine engines, the brand, and characteristics of which have not been officially announced at the moment. The estimated cruising speed of the aircraft will be about 270 km \ h., While the maximum flight distance will be limited to a range of 1200 kilometers.
