Air Transat

Air Transat is a Canadian airline that specializes in charter and scheduled flights. Home Port is located in Montreal, Quebec.

The airline was founded in 1987 and mainly specializes in transporting passengers from cities of Canada to popular resorts. Therefore, it is often called “leisure airline”. The airline’s route network includes more than 60 destinations from 19 cities of Canada: to 15 countries of the world to southern resorts in winter and 11 European countries in summer. The total passenger flow totals about 4 million passengers a year.

  • Air Transat takes the 20th place in the list of the safest airlines in the world 2019 from Jacdec.
