A plane knocked a man to death on an Austin airport runway

The landing plane shot down a man to death on the runway of the airport of the American city of Austin (Texas), it follows from the information that the airborne posted on social networks.

“Austin Bergstrom International Airport is aware that the plane that landed shot down and killed a man on Runway 17R earlier that evening,” the airport said in a Twitter statement.

A subsequent statement indicates that the Southwest Airlines pilot saw an “outsider” at the runway, as reported to the dispatcher. After that, representatives of the airport went to the place and found a victim of the incident on the strip. Emergency services arriving at the airport announced that the man had died.

As a result of the accident, the runway was closed, but should soon resume operations as usual, they added at the airport. The investigation is being carried out by Austin police.
